Korean idols and their chances. Probably by now, most of the K-POP fans knows the reality of Korean music industry. Whenever a company decided to debut a new group, another new opportunity will arise which leads them to be involve in the '3 minutes' rule.
What is '3 minutes rule'? '3 minutes rule' is known as a rule in the music shows. Most of the idols especially the newly debuted groups have to give their best performance within the 3 minutes period on the music shows that are airing in Korea. Knowing that there's a lot of idol groups will be performing on the shows, these 3 minutes performance will determined the popularity of the groups. Be it from the top idol groups or newly debuted group.
Besides that, the producer of the shows have to take into consideration of what should they air in the shows which was based on the group 'popularity' within the 3 minutes performances. Because of the viewers rating and what they want to see which leads the producer cut down the idols' performances to less than 3 minutes.[Some of the groups decided to cut short their promotion schedule due to this and sometimes happened to some of the senior idols groups too.]
