[Breaking] Spica Ji Won, "I am not the one involved in the car accident."

 

Yesterday, it was reported by media that one of the top girl group members was involved in a massive car accident in Gangnam, where she and her boyfriend caused a five-car collision under the influence of alcohol. One of the media broadcasts used SPICA, Ji Won's photo when the news was aired. 

However, earlier today, SPICA Jiwon posted on her Twitter account that the girl was not her by saying that, "Yesterday, I was riding a bicycle and was eating something, I received a phone call from the company. There was a five-car collision and it seemed that the passenger looks like me thus they were going to release an article saying it was me. I was surprised that they were going to release based on the unconfirmed video footage. Because it's not good news, I was afraid that fans may be worried about it."  She also added that, "Because they can't really confirm that it was me [passenger], the article can't publish my name and it ends there. I was watching my friend's performance, went out to eat and went back home. However, early in the morning, most of the people were sending me text messages and when I confirmed the articles, they used my picture with a mosaic on an article about the drunk drive incident.

"A blurred picture saying that a girl group member with an initial J. The company will take legal action if my name is mentioned directly, however the fans keep worrying and perhaps were frustrated about it. Thus, it leads me to write this post before that happens. It's not me, so don't misunderstand and be worried. To the people that were involved in the accident, I hope your injuries were not serious. It's early in the morning, everyone have a great Sunday morning."
