Actor Lee Jong Suk: "I felt like a useless human being."

Yup!You read it right, Lee Jong Suk fans! Recently, actor Lee Jong Suk had a chance to sit down and shared his thoughts with one of the local media, news1, about his career as an actor.

Before his "Pinocchio" project, where he acted as Ki Ha Myung, actor Lee Jong Suk revealed that he only read news in the celebrity section however, after he finished his latest drama, he started to read more of the local news and became interested in societal problems that they had in Korea.

Besides that, actor Lee Jong Suk shared to the media that instead of doing what he wants to do, he focused more towards what he is good at. As he elaborated more regarding this, he said that although he wanted to be in masculine movies, he knows that he is more fit into romantic-comedy of genre which is why he decided to stick with what he do best rather than what he wants to do. He added that he has a pretty face since he is young but he doesn't think that he will be a good looking man as he grow older.

Actor Lee Jong Suk also talked about two actors, Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin who people often thought them as his rivals. He commented that the difference between him and Kim Woo Bin is Kim Woo Bin has a masculine stature while he is thin. He also commented that when he saw Lee Min Ho's movie poster and Lee Min Ho seemed very manly. He wanted to do something that has that manly feeling but he knows that his appearance wouldn't fit the manly image.

He also confessed to the local media that he had a bad period after filming "Doctor Stranger", which was a drama project before "Pinocchio". He said that there was a time when he was at home, he felt useless as a human being and he knows that he should take a short break. However, he still thinks that he was not being a useful person. Thus, it was a good choice to take the offer in "Pinnochio" during that time.

Lastly when the media asked him what kind of actor that he wants to be remembered as, he answered that he wants to become like actor Park Hae Il. He wants to have both good and evil in him (characters) which leads him to tell the director of "Pinocchio" that he may be good at acting evil characters which was Ki Jae Myung.
